What's new at VAC

Congratulations to all of you who submitted entries to the 2008 Cumbria Calor Village of the Year Competition. Entries are now with the competition judges, who will select a short list of villages to visit, giving you an opportunity to present what makes your village special and why you should win. Judges visits will take place on August 12th, 13th and 14th.

Judges are:

Eric Robson, Ambassador for Cumbria and BBC’s Gardener’s Question Time chairman
Colin Cheyne, Business Advisor and past Chairman of Cumbria in Bloom
Roger Hart, Cumbria Community Foundation Grants Development Officer
Sally Orrel, Cumbria County Council Neighbourhood Development Programme Manager
